Along with her refined eye, Penelope’s strong connection to Indonesia and its people has forged a niche in the WA design space, bringing a curated, ethical, handcrafted lifestyle collection like no other.
With a long family history in furniture and interior styling, Penelope has decades of experience, having been raised in the furniture business by her father, and founder of a WA household name, Tony Sadler.
In 2019, she founded Penelope Sadler Designs, born from her passion for design and Indonesian inspiration.

Penelope ensures all pieces are ethically crafted, exclusive and thoughtfully designed to bring their own individual, calming quality to a space.
All of these beautiful pieces are imported from a network of local artisans across Indonesia, bringing Indonesia’s natural beauty and expert craftsmanship to Perth.
Beyond handcrafted furniture, Penelope invests in sustaining the future of the communities she collaborates with, including funding a school and working closely with local people to increase ethically fair business opportunities.
In Indonesia, Penelope is building on the path pioneered by her father, who was passionately involved in the effort to combat deforestation in Indonesia.
